Argentine concert guitarist, composer and arranger Pablo González Jazey has become one of the most recognized musicians and guitarists in the country. A versatile performer, he has performed in Argentina, France, Italy, Germany, Brazil and the United States of America in the major guitar repertoire, including: Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez and Fantasía de un Gentilhombre, Concierto en Re Op. 99 by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco, Astor Piazzolla's Concierto para bandoneon, guitarra y orquesta, Eduardo Falú’s Suite Argentina and concertos for guitar and orchestra by Antonio Lauro and by Eduardo Alonso-Crespo.
In addition to the classical repertoire, Pablo González Jazey performs popular music. For his original versions of Astor Piazzolla's work, he was invited to participate with his septet at the II Argentina Brazil Jazz Festival in New York City. Founding member, composer and arranger for Rosa Incaica (a duo for voice and guitar that performs a fusion of classical chamber music with popular and ethnic traditions), whose repertoire extends from the English Renaissance, with songs by John Dowland, to contemporary and popular music, with songs by The Beatles (Lennon / McCartney), as well as chamber music and Argentine folk music of Alberto Ginastera, Carlos Guastavino, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Eduardo Falú, Charly García, Fito Páez, among others. Pablo González Jazey also worked as an arranger and instrumentalist for numerous chamber ensembles and theater companies and as a composer his songs and compositions for guitar solo have been published and recorded internationally.
In 2007, with the support the National Fund of the Arts and the Cultural Entity of Tucumán, Mr. González Jazey published Guitarra Tucumana, an album of scores and a CD, where he collects and records works for guitar by composers from Tucumán, his native province located in the northwest part of Argentina. The project has been disemminated through master classes and concerts in different cities of Argentina, the United States and Europe.
In 2013, he won the award Igualdad Cultural organized by the Secretary of Culture of the Nation and in 2017 he won the support of the National Institute of Music (INAMU) for his project of argentinean songs.
Pablo González Jazey recorded the following albums: Guitarras del Mundo ´96, Guitar Tucumana, Things We Said Tomorrow, Flores Argentinas, Cielo y Tierra, Norte, Suite Norteña (the first world premiere recording of Eduardo Falú's Suite Norteña), Pájaros, in addition to participating in numerous important recordings as an interpreter, composer and arranger.
National and international organizations, such as the Camping Musical Bariloche (Argentina), Music in Compostela (Spain), the Chigiana Musical Academy (Italy) and the Palestrina Musical Institute (Brazil), recognized the talent of this artist by granting him scholarships for his participation in their courses and master classes. In 1996, he received the Fulbright / National Endowment for the Arts scholarship to pursue postgraduate studies in the United States. In 1997, he was selected as a finalist of the international Stotsemberg Guitar Competition, in Los Angeles (USA) and in 1992 he was awarded in the Circulo Guitarrístico Argentino (Guitar Circle) contest in Buenos Aires.
Pablo González Jazey began his guitar studies with Professor José Luis Conde. Later, he attended the School of Musical Arts of the National University of Tucumán, where he graduated as a Guitar Professor. In 1998, he earned the Master of Music in Guitar Performance degree at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Massachusetts. The teachers, with whom he has studied include: Dolores Costoyas, Irma Costanzo, Victor Villadangos, Sharon Isbin, Pepe Romero, Hopkinson Smith and Eduardo Isaac, among others
As a teacher, he has taught numerous master classes in conservatories and universities in Argentina, the United States and France. Between 1993 and 2004 he served as professor and chair for the guitar department the Higher Institute of Music of the National University of Tucumán. He is currently guitar professor at the "Manuel de Falla" Conservatory in the City of Buenos Aires.
Professor González Jazey is the creator and director of the Guitar Tutorials YouTube Channel of the Manuel de Falla Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, launched in 2019. It is a series of 274 video tutorials recorded by 17 guitar professors and arranged in 20 different playlists with studies and works that belong to the first year of the guitar program of study.

El guitarrista argentino Pablo González Jazey actuó en salas de concierto de Argentina, Francia, Italia, Alemania, Brasil y los Estados Unidos de América presentando como solista obras mayores del repertorio guitarrístico: entre otras, Concierto de Aranjuez y Fantasía para un Gentilhombre de Joaquín Rodrigo, Concierto en Re Op. 99 de Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco, Concierto para guitarra y orquesta de Antonio Lauro, Suite Norteña de Eduardo Falú, Concierto para guitarra y orquesta de Eduardo Alonso Crespo, Concierto en Re para guitarra y orquesta de Antonio Vivaldi y Concierto para bandoneón, guitarra y orquesta de Astor Piazzolla.
Además del repertorio clásico, Pablo González Jazey ejecuta música popular. Por sus versiones originales de la obra de Astor Piazzolla, fue invitado a participar con su septeto en el II Festival de Jazz Argentina Brasil, en la ciudad de Nueva York. Miembro fundador, compositor y arreglador de Rosa Incaica (dúo para canto y guitarra realizando una fusión de música de cámara clásica con tradiciones populares), su repertorio se extiende desde el renacimiento Inglés, con canciones de John Dowland, hasta lo contemporáneo y popular, con canciones de Los Beatles, como así también música de cámara y folclore argentino. Pablo González Jazey trabajó como arreglador e instrumentista para numerosos ensambles de cámara y compañías de teatro. Sus canciones y sus obras para guitarra sola han sido publicadas y grabadas internacionalmente.
En el año 2007, publica a través del Fondo Nacional de las Artes y el Ente Cultural de Tucumán, Guitarra Tucumana, álbum de partituras y CD de distribución gratuita donde recopila y graba obras para guitarra de autores tucumanos difundiéndolas a través de clases magistrales y conciertos en distintas ciudades de la Argentina, Estados Unidos y Europa.

Entre 1993 y 2004 se desempeñó como profesor de la cátedra guitarra del Instituto Superior de Música de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. Actualmente es profesor de guitarra en el Conservatorio “Manuel de Falla” de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
El Profesor González Jazey es el creador y director del proyecto para crear el Canal de YouTube de Tutoriales de Guitarra del Conservatorio de Música Manuel de Falla en Buenos Aires, lanzado en 2019. Guitarra Tucumana, performed and edited by Pablo González Jazey, is comprised of compositions by guitarists and composers either born or linked to the province of Tucumán. Each composer explores the different sonorities of the guitar through his own style and musical language, including contemporary folk studies, fusion jazz and tangos to classical compositions. The program gives the audience a clear panoramic view of the music of Argentina by expanding and making known the guitar repertoire of Tucumán, part of the national artistic patrimony of the country.

Guitarra Tucumana está conformado por obras de guitarristas y/o compositores contemporáneos en las cuales se exploran las distintas sonoridades de la guitarra con sus propios estilos y lenguajes. El repertorio forma una visión panorámica de la música argentina. Abarca obras que van desde estudios folclóricos contemporáneos, fusiones de jazz y tangos hasta composiciones íntegramente académicas. Este programa busca resaltar la cultura del país estimulando, ampliando, salvaguardando y difundiendo obras del repertorio guitarrístico de Tucumán y Argentina como parte del patrimonio artístico nacional.
